I called a new doctor yesterday. The receptionist was very nice and I asked her a lot of questions about this lady. I have an appointment scheduled for next Tuesday, and at this appointment, I meet with the nurse, go over history, have blood drawn, etc. She said we then schedule an appointment for about 2 weeks out with the doctor and she does and exam and testing (which I already had done) and I told her that, so she said that we will skip that and go to an ultrasound!! I am really excited. On Sunday I will be 6 weeks, and by the time I have an ultrasound, I will be 8 weeks. I still feel like time is going by slowly. Sometimes I wish I hadn't found out so early, but since I am impatient, I don't know what else I would expect from myself!
On another note, I spoke with my mom yesterday and she is sooooooo excited about this baby. For the past 6 months, she has joked that she wants to move to OK. I keep telling her not to joke, but I think she is half serious, half joking. Yesterday she told me she was going to move here. That would be so cool if she did - then our baby would have a grandparent that is close!! My mom also bought this baby his/her first outfit! She thinks she knows the gender already, but time will tell. She also expressed that she is really excited to see Winnie the Pooh grow. If you saw my previous post of my belly picture, then you saw a tattoo of Winnie the Pooh - he will be growing!! I can't wait - and neither can my mom! (or sister)
