Merry Christmas

Jeremy and I got Logan Christmas gifts this year - it was really exciting and fun. He opened my gifts to her and I opened his gifts to her. We also got each other a gift from Logan. It was so cool. I can't wait until next year when she is actually here and we can buy stuff for her and she has gifts to open herself.
Her 1st ornament

Jeremy gave her the bundle of joy and I got her the "L"

Onesies - so cute! This one says "Daddy's girl"

From Jeremy, OU hat and matching socks.
We already have cute stuff for her. Now we need to get her room ready so we have a place to put all this stuff!
We can't wait until next year when she is here to enjoy our Christmas tradition with us! I am really looking forward to having our own traditions, including ALWAYS waking up at our house on Christmas day. This was the best part of Christmas for me and my siblings and we want Logan to have the same experience. Life is grand and we can't wait to meet her!

It's a girl!!!

This morning, Jeremy and I found out we were having a girl! We are so excited!
Before the ultrasound tech started looking around, she wanted to make sure we wanted to know the gender. We told her yes!! She started looking around and finally made it to the "parts" and it was very evident that it was a girl!!! We have some really good pictures and also a video. The doctor came in a little bit later and went through the ultrasound, took measurements and said that everything looks really good. She is measuring about 9 ounces and we are right on track for a May delivery.
Once we left, we called my mom and told her. I wanted to try to trick her and tell her it was a boy because she was so darn sure it was a girl, but she didn't fall for it. Then started the chain of calling all of our family. It was so fun to hear everyone's reactions - they were all so excited - except for a few. But it was so nice to give everyone the good news.
We are naming her Logan, she doesn't have a middle name yet, so we have to decide on that. She has been moving around like crazy. It so amazing to feel her move. Jeremy is very anxious to feel her as well. I can't wait until he can experience it too. It is the best feeling in the world!
It is kind of surreal that in about 21 1/2 weeks we will have a baby in the house. My good friends are planning the baby shower and now they know it's a girl, they are soooo excited to have everything "all girl" My sister and mom have already bought clothes for her. My sister showed me some of the cute onesies they bought and boy are they adorable!! I went looking today for an outfit for Logan, but didn't find one that I wanted to buy. The search will continue tomorrow and every day thereafter until I find her the perfect outfit!
